CeBIT: New BenQ-Siemens Mobiles

Siemens Mobile (now owned by BenQ) announces three new UMTS (3G) mobile phones.
The new Siemens SG75 (photo) is a slider phone is less than 10 centimeters long and features high speed internet access as well as an integrated 1.3MP digital camera. Organizer functions and email features complete the features of this compact UMTS mobile phone.

Mobile phone maker BenQ has secured an agreement will allow it to pre-install a range of Google search applications on its handsets.

BenQ-Siemens EL71: BenQ Mobile's flagship tri-band GSM/GPRS slider phone.
Last October, BenQ bought the mobile division of Siemens; today, in addition to the Google deal, it launched six new phones under the BenQ-Siemens brand. These include a Windows Mobile smartphone, the P51, which includes a GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and VoIP functionality

A fashion phone with a feature set to match. The screen has 262k colours and the handset weighs in at a pocketable 99g. The incorporated camera is 1.3 megapixels, the phone's inbuilt music player will play MP3, AAC and WMA music files. The memory can be expanded up to 2GB with an additional memory card.
